Developed through National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Project 8-36, Task 120 “Snapshots of Planning Practices” – these products provide a quick summary of state and regional planning practices on current topics. Snapshots highlight current practices, address trending topics, provide best practice examples, and act as a resource for planners, executives, legislators, and others interested in planning practices.
The AASHTO Standing Committee on Planning (SCOP) invites your participation in a series of brief surveys covering current and future planning activities at state DOTs, MPOs, and regional organizations. The insights and responses provided are used to develop this quarterly series of "Snapshot" publications. We hope that you print, share, and distribute these Snapshots among your peers.
